We at The American Diamond Group want you to be completely satisfied
with your purchase. Therefore, subject to the conditions below, you may
return item(s) for credit or exchange, within 30 days of
the invoice date. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Product Return Policy - Please read if you are returning an item.
- Engraved and/or inscribed jewelry is non-returnable. If you want
to inspect an item, it must be purchased and sent to you for approval prior to
inscription or engraving, then returned for the additional work
to be done.
- Custom-made jewelry is not returnable.
- Total Invoice payment(s), including non-refundable shipping charges,
must have been collected in full by The American Diamond Group (ADG) prior to any refund.
- If an item has been returned in accordance with this policy, and
inspection reveals that it is in unused, undamaged and un-altered condition, a
"no questions asked" refund or credit charge reversal, less shipping
cost, will be issued and sent within 7 working days.
- Buyer must notify ADG by telephone or registered
mail before shipping any returned item.
- Original invoice, original grading report(s) and this guarantee must accompany any returned item.
- Returned items must be shipped in their original packing materials.
- Buyer must ship via secure carrier and apply adequate insurance to cover
any loss. The American Diamond Group IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FINANCIAL
LOSS DUE TO USED, DAMAGED OR LOST RETURN GOODS.
- Buyer pays shipping and insurance cost in returning goods, as well as a
$35.00 shipping and handling fee.
- Postmark (ship date) may be no later than 30 days after invoice date.
- If an item is damaged in shipment from ADG to
the buyer, then the buyer must contact ADG immediately in order to prepare
an insurance claim against the shipper. The standard terms of the guarantee
do not apply when an insurance claim must be filed. See below.
- After we receive a return, it must be inspected for damage or alteration,
authenticated and approved for credit. In cases of damaged, used or altered goods being returned, The American Diamond
Group will be the sole arbitor of the extent and value of said damages. When repair,
replacement or depreciation value must be deducted from amounts to be returned,
ADG will determine fair market value
using industry standard appraisal guidelines. In these
cases, delays associated with positive identification and anaylsis by expert
gemologists of up to 21 working days may be experienced.
- Only the buyer or his/her appointed proxy may return items for
credit or return in person at our offices in New York City. Identification
is required, and if a proxy is used, must accompany a notarized proxy authorization letter, at least one form
of identication for the owner as well as at least 2 forms of identification
for the proxy. ADG reserves the option to delay
the actual refund in such cases for a 48 hour period.
